Celebrations in honor of the great country that extended a helping hand and friendship not only to South Ossetia are being held all over the world.
Igor Terziyan, Counselor of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of South Ossetia, and Sergey Komissarov, Head of the Russian House in Tskhinval, congratulated those gathered on the holiday, spoke about its significance, and noted the Republic's commitment to the moral values of the Russian world.
The organization's loyal friends and partners were awarded with commendations for their dedication and desire to do good for their native Republic and the great common homeland.
The event has included a ceremonial raising of the Russian State Flag, which is a symbol of goodness, creation and justice.
