Minister of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia Erislav Mamiev discussed current issues within the framework of the cross-border cooperation with State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Igor Zubov and Minister of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia-Alania Demyan Laptev.
The meeting was held in Moscow, the press service of the law enforcement agency of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
"Erislav Mamiev also met with a delegation of the Main Criminal Investigation Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia led by the head of the International Cooperation Department Roman Terentyev.
During the working meeting, were discussed various mechanisms for implementing cooperation in solving serious and especially serious crimes affecting the interests of both states, as well as the issues of international search for wanted persons, ," the press service reported.
In order to increase the effectiveness of the fight against crime and ensure compliance with the law, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two states, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has concluded.
