The situation on the border of South Ossetia with Georgia remains stable, calm and predictable, Egor Kochiyev, the head of the South Ossetian delegation in the IPRM format, told journalists after the meeting in the village of Ergnet.
"Since the previous meeting, a minimal number of violations of the state border, violations of the Republic's airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles have been recorded," he said.
According to him, over the past period, there have been no violations by the Georgian police or representatives of the European Union observer mission.
The meetings in the village of Ergnet are held within the framework of the Geneva discussions on security in the Caucasus, and are attended by delegations from South Ossetia, Russia, Georgia, the European Union and the OSCE.
