The Forum in September will be the important step to increase investment attractiveness of South Ossetia — Prime Minister

South Ossetian Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev noted the importance of the upcoming first International Economic Forum and called on the organizing committee to approach its responsibilities with the utmost responsibility.

The event will be holding on September 18-20 and will be aimed at developing international economic cooperation between South Ossetia and foreign partners, the government press service reports.

"This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate the full potential of South Ossetia and establish new partnerships. The Forum will bring together representatives of business, government and experts from Russia and other friendly countries, which will allow them to exchange experiences, discuss current issues and find ways for joint development," Dzhussoev said at the meeting on preparations for the Forum.

The Prime Minister has expressed confidence that the upcoming event will be the important step to strengthening economic ties and increasing the investment attractiveness of the region.

"That is why we must approach this significant event with the utmost responsibility, we are obliged to do everything possible to hold the Forum at the highest level," Dzhussoev has emphasized.

The meeting was attended by: Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance Dzambolat Tadtaev, Minister of Economic Development Sarmat Kotaev, Chairman of the National Bank Soslan Bekoev, Trade Representative of South Ossetia in Russia - Chairman of the Organizing Committee Taimuraz Goginov and others.
