The spiritual connection between the peoples of South Ossetia and the Republika Srpska will be developing and expanding, President Alan Gagloev has noted in the congratulatory message to Patriarch Porfiry of Serbia on the occasion of his birthday.
“Your work and prayers aimed at preserving the unity of the Church, strengthening spiritual traditions and educating the younger generation in the spirit of love for the Fatherland and neighbors deserve deep respect and gratitude.
I am convinced that thanks to our joint efforts, the spiritual connection between the peoples of the Republic of South Ossetia and Republika Srpska, linked by common values, will be developing and expanding,” the congratulatory message reads.
Gagloev wished the Patriarch further success in carrying out the high and responsible Patriarchal service for the benefit of the Holy Serbian Orthodox Church and the entire Orthodox world.
