President Alan Gagloev met with Georgy Muradov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to President of the Russian Federation.
The meeting, taken place on the sidelines of the 1st International Economic Forum "South Ossetia: Investment Horizons," was also attended by Nikolai Ayrapetyan, State Advisor to President of the Republic of South Ossetia; Marat Kulakhmetov, Russian Ambassador to the Republic of South Ossetia; and Svetlana Kolodyazhnaya-Sheremetyeva, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to President of the Russian Federation.
"This isn't the first time we've met, and we always have much to discuss. We, South Ossetians, always remember the support of our brothers and friends. We hope for further cooperation and collaboration," Alan Gagloev said.
For his part, Georgy Muradov conveyed greetings and congratulations to the President from Sergey Aksyonov, Head of the Republic of Crimea.
"Our cooperation has reached a level where it's time to move on to implementing specific projects. Today we got acquainted with your products produced in South Ossetia, and I want to note that they are remarkable. For our part, we want to contribute to the development of the crops that our Nikitsky Botanical Garden of the Russian Academy of Sciences has to offer, especially since the climate allows it," he said.
Georgy Muradov expressed his willingness to assist in promoting the South Ossetian products outside the Republic.
He reminded the long history, shared values, and mutual understanding between South Ossetia and the Republic of Crimea and emphasized the importance of efforts to return the Scythian gold, announcing that President of the Russian Federation has instructed to intensify this work.
At the end of the meeting, Alan Gagloev awarded Georgy Muradov and Svetlana Kolodyazhnaya-Sheremetyeva medals "In Commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of the Republic of South Ossetia."
