А delegation from the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and representatives of the JSC KAVKAZ.RF, led by First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Sergey Nazarov, visited the Impuls-A natural stone processing and mining plant in Tskhinval.

They were accompanied by Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, and other officials.

The delegation toured the production facility and examined the finished products.

The Impuls-A General Director Elbrus Kochiev has explained that the company has two quarries: one produces granite and diabase, and the other produces marbled limestone.

"Our diabase has high density, durability, and frost resistance. We are currently fully operational at one quarry, but will soon begin production at the second one. Our marbled limestone reserves amount to over 1.2 million cubic meters, and our granite reserves are around a million," Kochiev has noted.

He has emphasized that the company's main challenge is marketing its products.

"Our main challenge right now is finding a market. Currently, our main clients are South and North Ossetia, but we are currently negotiating to enter the Abkhazian market. Negotiations are also underway with other companies in other regions of Russia," he has added.
