South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev met with Soslan Pliev, a participant in the special military operation.
According to the presidential press service, Soslan Pliev has been in the special military operation zone since the very beginning, serving with a unit from the 4th Military Base,.
Gagloev thanked the soldier for his faithful service, for his steadfastness, and courage on the battlefield.
"I want to express my gratitude for your service, for everything you and other brave, selfless sons of the Ossetian people are doing for our common homeland – the Russian Federation. Ossetia is proud of you," Alan Gagloev said .
Soslan Pliev expressed his gratitude to the President for his attention and continued support of the fighter’s.
For courage and bravery displayed in the line of duty during the special military operation, the President awarded the soldier the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal.
