Representatives of the Council of Young Diplomats of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry participated in the 3rd International Forum of Young Diplomats "Mercury-2025."
The event was being held from October 28 to 31 in Mariupol at the A.I. Kuindzhi Mariupol State University, according to the Foreign Ministry press service.
"The central theme of this year's Forum was 'Victory Diplomacy.' This significant event brought together students, graduate students, and young specialists in international relations, as well as representatives of government agencies and public organizations from 20 regions of Russia and 20 foreign countries.
The event was organized by the Russian Foreign Ministry's office in Donetsk, jointly with the Legatus Center for Youth Diplomacy, with the support of the authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Russian Foreign Ministry," the press service stated.
The Forum participants discussed a wide range of current foreign policy issues and the role of public and people's diplomacy in strengthening peace and stability. The historical legacy of Victory was considered not only as a memory of the past but also as a moral foundation and strategic guide for modern diplomacy.
