Jointly confronting neo-fascism in the special military operation with Russia is important for South Ossetia, people of which people have always stood with Russia, Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev told RIA Novosti.
"Historically, the peoples of our countries have always been together. Residents of South Ossetia took active part in the Great Patriotic War, and today we are forced to fight a new form of fascism," the Minister said.
He has noted that residents of the republic are participating in the special military operation as part of the Russian Armed Forces and in the volunteer units.
"The fight against neo-fascism is important for us in a situation where Russia is confronting the collective West, and there are increasing the attempts to rewrite history," the Minister has emphasized.
