South Ossetia will present a national exhibit at the 33rd international exhibition of food, beverages, and raw materials for their production, Prodexpo 2026. The exhibition will be held from February 9 to 12 at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center. This was announced by Taimuraz Goginov, the Republic's trade representative in the Russian Federation.

"This is the sixth time we are presenting South Ossetia's national exhibit at this venue. The Republic rightfully takes its place among the 13 participating countries that have been given the opportunity to present a separate national exhibit," he said.

According to Goginov, in 2026, the focus will be on the Republic's leading exporters, whose products are already present on the Russian market. Specifically, the stand will feature the High Mountain Kel Brewery, the Ironsan Winery, and other companies.

The Republic also plans to present a new product—Highland Water. Exports to Russia are expected to begin at the Prodexpo venue. "Each of our manufacturers has prepared their own unique new products for the stand, which will be shown for the first time at the exhibition," Goginov has noted.

The trade representative office of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation is the organizer of South Ossetia's participation.

Prodexpo is Russia's largest food trade fair for businesses. Over 2,000 companies from 35 countries, as well as representatives of 120 federal and regional retail chains, are expected to participate in 2026. The participants include food and beverage producers and distributors from Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.
