In Sochi a cooperation agreement and the work plan for 2026 were signed by Maxim Dreval, Director General of the Society "Knowledge," and Alan Tibilov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office of South Ossetia.
"South Ossetia is our strategic partner. Residents of the Republic regularly participate in the events of the Society "Knowledge" in Russia. We saw great interest in our projects and decided to actively working in the country. I thank the Presidential Executive Office of South Ossetia for supporting our initiative. "I am confident of fruitful cooperation," Maxim Dreval has noted.
The educational year will be opened with the "Knowledge. Heroes " forum, which will be held in Tskhinval on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day. The event will be attended by the South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev, leading lecturers participants of the special military operation, and war correspondents.
"President of South Ossetia pays great attention to the humanitarian cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia. It is gratifying that our cooperation extends beyond the state level and that we are opening up new opportunities for our youth. This is possible because organizations like the Russian Society "Knowledge" help to unite our peoples. "The most important thing is that if we lose the values that unite us, if we don't tell young people, the younger generation about them in a simple way, if we don't pass them on, we risk losing them. Therefore, the work of the Knowledge Society is especially valuable in our time," Alan Tibilov has emphasized.
Alan Chochiev, Deputy Head of the South Ossetian Presidential Executive Office for Domestic Policy, also attended the meeting.
