A working meeting between the South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev and First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko took place in Moscow.
During the talks, the key areas of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including the Republic's socio-economic development and the implementation of joint projects.
As noted at the meeting, a decision was reached to increase salaries for employees of the South Ossetian Prosecutor's Office. The increased payments are expected to begin in the first half of this year.
Special attention was paid to the situation surrounding the BTK Company. Previous restrictions have reportedly been lifted, and the work is currently underway to process orders.
Furthermore, the issue of simplifying the access for wine products to the Russian market was discussed. According to both parties, the necessary solutions have been developed, the relevant agencies have begun implementing them, and the issue could be resolved in the near future.
Following the meeting, a commitment to further developing and strengthening integration processes between Russia and South Ossetia was reaffirmed.⠀
