South Ossetia's Ambassador to Russia, Znaur Gassiev, is participating in the 3rd International Anti-Fascist Forum, "The Fight against International Terrorism, Arbitrariness, and Aggression. For Peace and Security."
Gassiev is participating in the event at the invitation of Gennady Zyuganov, Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, according to the Embassy press service.
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a greeting to the forum participants, calling for the unification of all constructive forces to build a just, democratic, and multipolar world.
"Together, we must resist the spread of destructive ideologies across the planet: xenophobia, neo-Nazism, anti-Semitism, and Russophobia.
We must defend the historical truth about the World War II and the true heroes who saved the peoples of Europe from extermination and enslavement. "This is our duty to future generations, a solid foundation for genuine partnerships between peoples," the message states.
Representatives of the Communist Party of the Republic of South Ossetia and representatives of 70 parties, movements, and organizations, as well as political and public figures from over 100 countries, are also participating in the event.
