The issue of the removal of the illegal Georgian police post near the village of Uista in Znaur District was discussed again at the 135th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM). Yegor Kochiev, head of the South Ossetian delegation, announced this to journalists.

According to him, South Ossetia had previously proposed various solutions to the problem, but the Georgian party has not demonstrated any willingness to dismantle the post.

"Despite the fact that South Ossetia has proposed various solutions to this problem, the Georgian party has demonstrated a lack of the political will and responsibility necessary to dismantle the post and remove it from the Republic's territory," Kochiev has emphasized.

The next IPRM meeting is scheduled for December 15, 2026.
