On Thursday, in Moscow, Children's Ombudsmen of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding and Cooperation in the field of protecting the rights and interests of the child.

Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Aelita Dzhioeva is in the Russian capital on a working visit. During the visit, she met with the Children's Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Maria Lvova-Belova.

Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia, headed by Minister, Major General of Militia Alan Guchmazov, as well as the personnel and veterans of the Vadim Gazzaev OMON, laid wreaths and flowers at the obelisk of the riot police, perished while repelling the Georgian aggression, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

In South Ossetia, Genrikh Kasaev, perished in the special military operation, was escorted on his last journey.

Kasaev had been missing since January. In early June, his body was identified by DNA analysis.

The leadership of the Republic led by President Alan Gagloev, Speaker of Parliament Alan Alborov and residents of the Republic came to pay last tributes to the warrior.

President called Kasaev the standard of true patriotism.

On Sunday, in Tskhinval, artists of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia performed in honor of the 85th anniversary of the People's Artist of the USSR Svetlana Adyrkhaeva.

Representatives of the leadership of South Ossetia headed by President Alan Gagloev,  Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, ballet connoisseurs came to congratulate Svetlana Dzantemirovna on her anniversary.

The concert gathered a full hall; the applause of the grateful audience did not stop throughout the evening.

Rector of the South Ossetian State University Vadim Tedeev and representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in Austria Patrick Poppel discussed possible joint projects of the scientists from the South Ossetian State University and Austria.

Patrick Poppel visited the University as part of a working trip to the Republic of South Ossetia, the press service of the South Ossetian State University informs.

On June 4, in South Ossetia, at the Kosta Khetagurov State Drama Theater, a gala concert of ballet dancers from the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia will take place. According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic, the event will be dedicated to the anniversary of the People's Artist of the USSR Svetlana Adyrkhayeva.

South Ossetia is seeing another hero on his last journey.

A .participant of the special military operation, Genrikh Gyulerovich Kasaev, who went missing in January, was found dead. His body was delivered to Tskhinval on Saturday morning.

The body was identified by DNA analysis.

Genrikh Kasaev was fighting courageously and bravely and  perished during fierce battles near the village of Avdiivka.

The platoon in which Kasaev was serving got surrounded. The family was living all these months only hoping for a miracle, but....
