Fighters from South Ossetia, together with the multinational people of Russia, are defending our common future in the special military operation zone, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev said at the meeting with the head of the Russian state Vladimir Putin.
Gagloev has emphasized that the Republic highly appreciates fraternal relations with Russia, always supporting Moscow's decisions and the conduct of the special military operation.
"You know that there are about one and a half thousand soldiers from South Ossetia in the special military operation zone. They are showing heroism, giving their lives for the common cause. Once again, we have to defend our common history, not to let the history to be rewritten.
And at the same time, together with the multinational people of the Russian Federation, we are defending the future of our younger generations," Gagloev said.
According to him, the fighters from South Ossetia have been awarded state awards of both the Russian Federation and South Ossetia.
“We, both the leadership of the Republic and ordinary citizens, based on our capabilities, are supporting our guys, periodically going to the special military operation zone, meeting, and bringing humanitarian aid.
Everyone understands that this is our common cause and our common future. No one doubts that we will achieve another victory together. And we will celebrate another victory together,” President of the Republic of South Ossetia has concluded.
