The main goal of the First International Economic Forum is to improve interaction between government, business and investors, said South Ossetian Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev.
South Ossetia is preparing for the First International Economic Forum "Investment Horizons", where the government decisions in the field of entrepreneurship will be presented.
Dzhussoev has noted that only joint work can yield a positive result.
"South Ossetia has great potential. The government is faced with the task of unlocking it, and the first serious steps in this direction have already been taken. We are open to investors and confident in our self-sufficiency," Konstantin Dzhussoev has clarified.
According to him, achieving such goals as economic development, the creation of new jobs, and improving the standard of living of the population is impossible without attracting foreign investment.
"Roadmaps for improving the business environment have been created and are being implemented; the tax burden on business has been reduced. All these measures have already brought positive results, which are expressed in the growth of the economy of South Ossetia. Today, the government bodies and public administration are consolidated and united in their desire to create favorable conditions for economic development," the Prime Minister said.
The National Bank of the Republic of South Ossetia will act as the general partner of the 1st International Economic Forum "South Ossetia. Investment Horizons".
The main information partner of the "I MEF" is the Federal Agency TASS.
The 1st International Economic Forum will be held in the Sports Complex "Olimp" on September 18-20 this year.
