Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Sergey Nazarov visited the Alania-Les enterprise in South Ossetia.
Representatives of the JSC KAVKAZ.RF, Minister of Economic Development Sarmat Kotayev, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, and other officials have also participated in the visit.
The Alania-Les CEO Vladimir Bosikov discussed the company's key operations.
He has noted that the team has been formed, operations are well-established, and export options are being discussed.
"We have a well-equipped team, and we are focused on the results. Some of our employees work at the enterprise, while others work in the forest, harvesting timber. The average salary is 50,000 rubles," Bosikov said.
He has noted that the products are in demand in the Middle Eastern countries.
However, Bosikov has added that exporting the products to the international market is difficult. He asked for assistance in resolving the issue.
