South Ossetia is preparing to participate in two major economic events—the Abkhaz Economic Forum and the Caucasus Investment Forum.
At the government staff meeting, Prime Minister Dzambolat Tadtaev instructed the responsible agencies to ensure comprehensive preparations for participation in the events, given the planned attendance of President Alan Gagloev.
"I ask you to prepare thoroughly, as the participation is planned at the head of state level. All activities must be worked out," the Prime Minister has emphasized.
Minister of Economic Development Sarmat Kotaev has confirmed that his agency is already actively working on the Forums' business program.
The goal of participation is to attract investment and strengthen economic cooperation.
The Abkhaz Economic Forum "Abkhazia – Investments in the Future" will be held April 3-4 in Sukhum, and the Caucasus Investment Forum will be held April 28-30, 2026, in Mineralnye Vody.
