A meeting between Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Albert Tekhov with a delegation from the Kingdom of Thailand took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia. This was reported by the Ministry's press service.
The Thai representatives arrived in South Ossetia on a fact-finding visit.
During the meeting, Akhsar Dzhioev told the guests in detail about the history, culture, and traditions of South Ossetia and the Ossetian people.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development Albert Tekhov, in turn, emphasized the importance of developing the Republic's tourism sector and expressed interest in establishing contacts and cooperation in this area with representatives from Thailand.
The meeting was also attended by Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Tadtaev and Head of the Department for Work with Foreign Establishments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Alexey Sanakoev.
