"Today we bow our heads before the bright memory of young lives.
On the Avenue of Angels, on granite slabs, the names of 117 innocent victims are carved - children whose lives were cut short in the first year of the tragic military conflict," the ombudsman said, expressing her deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased children.
"Their pain is our common pain. The memory of the children of Donbass will forever remain in our hearts.
May their bright souls find eternal peace,” Dzhioeva said.
