In South Ossetia, the name of Taimuraz Kusov is associated with many years of activity in the Joint Control Commission for the peaceful settlement of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict, where the qualities of his personality - wisdom, competence, talent as a negotiator, deep human decency and patriotism - were fully manifested.
This is stated in the telegram of condolences by President Alan Gagloev to the family and friends of the political and scientific figure Taimuraz Kusov in connection with his death.
The head of state noted that Kusov's state activities will influence the development of Ossetia for many years as the example of dedication to the cause, worthy service to the Fatherland and responsibility to the people.
" I have received with deep regret the sad news of the passing of Taimuraz Elmurzaevich Kusov, a prominent statesman, politician, scientist, and diplomat. We will forever preserve the bright memory of him as one of the most worthy sons of Ossetia," the President has noted.
Taimuraz Kusov passed away on Sunday. For many years, he played a major role in protecting the interests of South Ossetia.
