The Georgian citizen who had violated the South Ossetian state border was fined by a court and sent home, the KGB press service reports
"On December 23, 2025, the Georgian citizen Teimuraz Areshovich Zadishvili, born in 1992, a resident of the village of Zadiantkari in the Kareli Municipality, was detained by the South Ossetian border guards for illegally crossing the South Ossetian state border," the press service reported.
It was established that the violator had intentionally crossed the South Ossetian-Georgian border near the village of Orchosan in Leningor District.
"On February 20, the Leningor District Court found Zadishvili guilty of a criminal offense and sentenced him to a fine followed by deportation," the department has noted.
They noted that all possible routes of entry for violators of the Republic's state border we re within the control zones and sectors of influence of the South Ossetian border forces..
