А meeting was held in Moscow between the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev and Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia, Jesús Salazar Velázquez, the Foreign Ministry's press service reports.
"The parties exchanged views on the situation in South Ossetia and Venezuela and expressed their mutual commitment to the further development of the South Ossetian-Venezuelan relations," the press service has noted.
During the conversation, Dzhioev has expressed words of support on behalf of Acting South Ossetian President Marat Kambolov to the Acting President of Venezuela Delcy Rodriguez regarding the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that struck Venezuela on June 24.
