The USA is trying to convince the world community that Russia was the initiator of the war in August, 2008 in South Ossetia. It has been declared the news agency "Res" by the Plenipotentiary of the RSO President Boris Chochiev, making comments on the resolution of the USA senate, which contains the appeal to Russia for stopping "occupation" of Georgia. As he said, adopting the similar decisions, the USA reminds of «a drowning man, who will catch at a straw». Chochiev regretfully has stated a fact that South Ossetia did not expect the other decision of the USA senate. «Whether they could make the other decision? Though the whole world has learnt, that exactly Georgia attacked South Ossetia, and Russia came to the rescue and prevented the USA and other countries which had armed Saakashvili regime and had given their blessing to aggression against South Ossetia», - Chochiev has emphasized.

Two citizens of Georgia, arrested for illegal crossing of the frontier of South Ossetia last week, have been expelled from the Republic. It has been informed the news agency "Res" at the KGB of the RSO press-service. «A citizen of Georgia Alexander Majsuradze, an inhabitant of the village Ditsi of Goriyskiy region, Georgia, 1959 year of birth, has been expelled from the Republic of South Ossetia according to the RSO Law of the state border, article 14, part 4» , - has been noted at the press-service.

Last week four violators have been detained on the border of South Ossetia and Georgia by the Russian frontier guards. As reported to the news agency "Res" by the press-service of the FSS Boundary management of Russia in the Republic of South Ossetia, all of them are citizens of Georgia. «On July, 29, 2011 about 9:00 around the village Abrev in Leningorskiy region of the Republic four citizens of Georgia have been detained for illegal crossing of the frontier who; according to their words, they have had economic household purposes», - has been noted at the press-service.

Construction of a new sanatorium complex has begun in Dzausky region, RSO. It has been reported to the news agency "Res" by the initiator of the project Inal Gabaraev. «South Ossetia possesses high potential for sanatorium business. I had an idea of building a modern sanatorium complex for a long time. I have developed the corresponding investment project, - the interlocutor of the agency has noted – I have discussed this question with the President of the RSO. My business project has been regarded with understanding by him; he has rendered active assistance in receiving the credit on favorable terms».

Today the next meeting within the frames of mechanisms on prevention and reaction to incidents (МPRI) has taken place in the Georgian village Dvani on the border of South Ossetia. As the head of the delegation, the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on post conflict settlement Merab Chigoev has informed the news agency "Res", the new head of the European Union Mission of observers in Georgia Andrzej Tyshkevich (Poland) who has replaced the former head of the Mission Hans-Jorg Khaber, was presented at the meeting. «Tyshkevich is a regular officer of the Polish army, he has gained wide experience of working in hot zones; taking part in the conflicts resolution. He speaks Russian rather well – he has graduated two higher military educational institutions in Moscow», - Chigoev has characterized the new head of the Mission. The Deputy Plenipotentiary has noticed that participants of the meeting, first of all, discussed incidents which had occurred on the border of South Ossetia and Georgia after the last meeting.

Military maneuvers of the IV-th infantry brigade of the Georgian land forces with participation of the USA marines are being conducted at the military base of the Georgian army near Tbilisi. The maneuvers have the code name «Agile Spirit». They are presented as the "planned" and represent the program of the USA naval corps which prepares the Georgian military men for peace-making mission ISAF in Afghanistan where Georgia intends to increase essentially its military presence. It should be underlined that these maneuvers have started at once after the maneuvers in Sachkhere which started on July, 18. It is obvious that Georgia is being militarized rapidly. And the militarization speed of Georgia exceeds that one before the August military aggression against the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia.

The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity has signed the decree about the RSO embassy establishment in the Republic of Nicaragua with residence in Tskhinval. The news agency "Res" has been informed about it at the press-service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic. «In connection with the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Nicaragua, and also the necessity of maintenance and development of constant relations with the Republic of Nicaragua, by the decree of the President of the RSO E. Kokoity on July, 26, 2011 the RSO Embassy in the Republic of Nicaragua with the residence in Tskhinval has been founded», - has been told at the press-service.

On July, 28 the next meeting of the working groups in a format of Mechanisms on prevention and reaction to incidents (МPRI) will take place at the frontier village Dvani (Georgia). As the news agency "Res" has been informed at the office of the Plenipotentiary of the President of South Ossetia on postconflict settlement, representatives of South Ossetia, Russia and Georgia will take part in the meeting, with the assistance of the EU observers and the co-chairman of the Geneva discussions from OSCE. The new head of the European Union Mission of Observers in Georgia Andrzej Tyshkevich will also take part in the meeting «During the meeting it is planned to discuss incidents on the Georgian-Ossetian border which have taken place after the last working meeting within the frames of MPRI (on June, 17, 2011), - has been informed at the department. - Besides, the South-Ossetian party will raise a question on clearing up the destiny of Gennady Bestaev who is serving his sentence in Georgia». As they have explained to the news agency "Res", Bestaev lived in the village Zardiantkari (Georgia). Some years ago he was convicted of his mother’s murder.
