The European Union Observers Mission in Georgia has received confirmation of the Interior Ministry of Georgia that shooting in the village Knolevi (Georgia) which led to death of Nino Koberidze, was not carried on from the territory of South Ossetia. This information has been placed in the official site of the Observers Mission in Georgia.
The institute of analysis and resolution of conflicts at the George Mason University has held the ninth meeting between representatives of the Georgian and the South-Ossetian civil societies from 8 to 10 July, 2011 in Istanbul. According to the press release results of the meeting, this time 26 participants took part in the informal meeting, including representatives of the international and non-governmental organizations, and also advisers of the Great Britain Foreign Ministry and the Agency on the USA international development. All those present took part in the meeting as private persons and did not represent interests of any organizations.

I recollect the days of the August war 2008 with horror. I am already 80 years old, I have seen much during my life, but I can’t stop being astonished at brutality and boundless aggression of Georgia hitherto. On the night of August, eighth, 2008 the war began, explosions were resounded.

As he has said, such inhuman act on the part of the OSCE observers, undoubtedly, deserves condemnation.
On July, 7, 2011 the citizens of Georgia, detained by the law enforcement bodies of the RSO in Leningorskiy region of the Republic, were expelled from South Ossetia. It has been reported to the informational agency "Res" at the press-service of the Committee for State Security (KGB) in the RSO.
