The Committee for state security (KGB) of South Ossetia reported that on 28 June, two residents of Kaspi district of Georgia, Levan Revazovich Daviaturi (1983) and Lukhum Georgievich Gamkhitashvili, 1971, were detained by duty border-guards in the village of Akhmadji, Leningor district, for illegal border-crossing. In accordance with Tskhinval district court decision, on 29 June both Georgian citizens were released and handed over to the Georgian side", reported the press-service of the RSO KGB.

Zevinar Kazieva, the citizen of South Ossetia detained in Georgia, is charged with illegal acquisition and storing of drugs, reported the Plenipotentiary for Human Rights David Sanakoev. According to Sanakoev, Georgy Kaziev, the son of the detainee, addressed him. "He told me that his mother was detained on 28 June in Gori for illegal acquisition and storing of drugs. As to the question on where he got this information from, he said that his relatives in Georgia has informed him. He knew nothing about his mother's whereabouts", said Sanakoev.

South Ossetian journalists took part in the 6th International Media Forum "Interaction for common interests", held in Adygey. The South Ossetian delegation was presented by Chief Editor of the state newspaper "Yuzhnaya Ossetia" and "Khurzarin" – Zalina Tskhovrebova and Yury Gabaraev, deputy editor of youth newspaper "Respublika" Inal Tibilov. As the Chief Editor of the newspaper "Yuzhnaya Ossetia" Zalina Tskhovrebova told IA RES, the form was held at a very high level.
"The main goal of this forum was the interaction among the journalists in South Russia. The authorities of Adygeya participate in the forum. The president of Adygeya Aslan Tkhakushinov opened the forum. The discussion focused on the topics vital for all journalists in the Southern Federal District", said Tskhovrebova.

The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity met with the workers whom some of the subcontractor organizations, engaged in the reconstruction works, did not pay salaries to. The main emphasis was placed on the problems of the constructors who entered into a contract with the state unitary enterprise "Directorate for implementation of priority national projects. The RSO Prosecutor General's Office has initiated a criminal suit against the Director of the above state unitary enterprise, Ismagil Karimov, and the bank accounts of the enterprise have been arrested. As a result, the enterprise owes the workers their salary for a period since early 2010.

The President of the Republic of South Ossetian Eduard Kokoity paid a visit to the International Youth Camp-Forum "South Ossetia: Peace and Stability in the Caucasus", where he met with the Camp participants, representatives of youth organization of all the RF Parliament parties, as well as youth and public movements of Russia and South Ossetia.
During the informal meeting, issues related to the development of links and friendly relations between youth organizations of the two states were discussed.

The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity decided on the establishment of a unified information service to the president and the government of the Republic. This decision was voiced at the sitting of ministers and heads of governmental agencies of the Republic.

On 29 June, the second meeting of South Ossetian and Russian commissions for delimitation and demarcation of the state borderline will take place in South Ossetia. "We have already done the preliminary work in Moscow and Vladikavkaz. There are certain difficulties, which are related to the fact that we have practically no documents except for the Decree on the establishment of South Ossetian Autonomous Oblast of 1922, majority of the documents are in Tbilisi. And we certainly cannot obtain them from there, and hence, we have to collect small pieces available mainly in the archives in the Russian Federation", said the Deputy Plenipotentiary for Post-conflict Settlement Merab Chigoev.

Despite the repeated addresses of South Ossetia, including those within the frames of the Geneva Discussions, the authorities of Georgia has not settled the problem with the gas supply to Leningor District of South Ossetia, finding different pretexts, sometimes absolutely unacceptable, like control over the gas pipeline at its segment on the territory of South Ossetia, control over the distribution of gas, etc., stated the Deputy Plenipotentiary for Post-Conflict Settlement Merab Chigoev commenting on the reports of Georgian media sources on the suspension of water supply from South Ossetia to Georgia.

The silent approval of international organizations for the aggressive and provocative policy of the Georgian authorities repeats the practice used before the attack of Georgia against South Ossetia in August 2008, reads the letter of the South Ossetian President's Plenipotentiary for Human Rights David Sanakoev the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe Tomas Hammarberg and the Co-Chairmen of the Geneva Discussions.

There are no primary or secondary participants in Geneva Discussions, there no Co-Chair institute, all the participants have equal status, said the Plenipotentiary for Post-Conflict Settlement Boris Chochiev commenting on the decision of the Abkhaz side to suspend its participation in Geneva Discussions on Security in the Caucasus.
