Investigation group of the RSO KGB and de-mining specialists withdraw the ammunitions from the cache near the village of Balta, reported the KGB press-service.
"Currently, the cache location has been thoroughly checked, the ammunitions withdrawn. Military engineers identified RPG shells, anti-tank grenade RPG-18 "Mukha", shells for antiaircraft emplacement, etc", read the report.
Georgian military personnel trespassed the state borderline of South Ossetia, reports the Defense Ministry press-service.
”At around 17:00, two armored vehicles COBRA and one military pick-up enter the territory of South Ossetia as far as 150 meters near the village of Okona bordering with Georgian village of Knolevi. After warning shooting, the Georgian armed forces representatives returned back to Georgia”, says the report.

Though some may portray this event as “just a photo op” it unfortunately provides credibility for Georgia's leader, who has recently displayed some bizarre and un-statesmanlike behavior, including starting a war with the Republic of South Ossetia; unilaterally sending special forces to Ukraine to serve as observers; ordering children in his country to prepare for war; and sowing panic among his citizenry when he allowed a government-supported television station to broadcast a fake account of a Russian invasion of his country.
Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia and Republic of Nicaragua, Murat Djioev and Samuel Santos Lopez, signed joint declaration on establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Ossetian and Republic of Nicaragua and the Protocol on consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the Republic of South Ossetia and Republic of Nicaragua.
RSO President Eduard Kokoity attended the signing ceremony. He underlined the importance of the signed Declaration.
PACE representatives trying to arrive on the territory of South Ossetia from Georgia were informed on the rules regulating the entry. The Plenipotentiary for Human Rights David Sanakoev told IA RES correspondent about the details of the incident with the representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe at the boundary line between South Ossetia and Georgia.
On 14 April, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua Samuel Santos Lopez paying official visit to the Republic of South Ossetia.
During the meeting, the sides had a fruitful dialogue on issues of mutual interest to foster further development of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and Republic of Nicaragua.
The sides expressed their common satisfaction about full agreement in viewpoints on current international relations.

The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity held a session with the representatives of ministries, government agencies, heads of city and rural administrations. The president opened the session with tasking to examine all issues related to delayed approval of the 2010 budget.
The session continued with law enforcement bodies’ reports on the situation for the previous week. Interior Minister of South Ossetia Valery Valiev noted that the personnel of the Interior Ministry increased its patrolling due to religious holidays. According to Valiev, the number of cases of driving in a drunken state decreased significantly. The President once again tasked the Interior Ministry to intensify their mode of operation in relation to religious feasts. Valiev has also informed that the Interior Ministry personnel are participating in professional training at Krasnodar Interior Ministry University from 8 to 22 April.
The signing of the Agreement on Joint Military Base is the continuity of the Agreement on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Support concluded between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation on 17 September 2008, stated Deputy Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Alan Pliev commenting on the signing of the Joint Military Base Agreement between the RF and RSO 6 April in Moscow. “Russian military personnel fulfilling here functions on preventing reoccurrence of Georgia’s aggressions, had officially attained legal frames for their presence in South Ossetia.
