The delegation of South Ossetia took part in the IX International Symposium "Russian Language in a Multicultural World", held as part of the International Festival "Great Russian Word" in Yalta.
As reported to IA "Res" by Vice-Rector of the South Ossetian State University, Head of the Department of Russian Language, Professor Zalina Tedeeva, the Forum brought together philologists from different countries and regions of Russia to discuss the functioning of the Russian language in modern geopolitical conditions.
"The conference included plenary sessions, sections, round tables, master classes and presentations on various aspects of functioning of the Russian language.
Particular attention was paid to the verbalization of the spiritual foundations of the Russian world, issues of teaching Russian as a foreign language, as well as the study of military literature and journalism," Tedeeva said.
She has expressed gratitude to Rector of the South Ossetian State University Vadim Tedeev, thanks to whose support the delegation's participation in the Yalta International Scientific Forum has become possible.
The South Ossetian delegation has also included: Professor Natalie Gassieva, Associate Professor Inal Tibilov, Senior Lecturers Lali Kokoeva and Elena Alborova.
The scientists presented their research at the sectional meetings.
In particular, Zalina Tedeeva and Elena Alborova made a report on the role of the Russian word in South Ossetia and the activities of the Association of Teachers of Russian Literature.
Natalie Gassieva presented the analysis of the floristic components in Russian and Ossetian paroemia, and Lali Kokoeva spoke about the problems of functioning of the Russian world in the context of the information war.
Tedeeva has added that the symposium demonstrated a high level of scientific research in the field of Russian studies and outlined the prospects for further cooperation between scientists from different countries.
