The First International Economic Forum in South Ossetia will be held from September 18 to 20

The First International Economic Forum "South Ossetia. Investment Horizons" will be held in the capital of South Ossetia at the Olimp Sports Palace from September 18 to 20. The event will become a platform for international dialogue between the government and business representatives, where they will discuss opportunities for cooperation and investment, the banking sector, heritage and culture, the organizers report.

The Forum is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic and will become a symbol of the country's transition to a new economic stage.

"On its 35th anniversary, South Ossetia is entering a new era: after many years of recovery, the Republic's economy is beginning to move into the development phase. Today, the Republic is confidently looking to the future, creating the economy capable of growing, attracting investment and being open to the world. We invite everyone who wants to be part of the new economic history of the region, to witness and participate in the transformations,” South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev, said.

The Forum will be attended by the head of the Republic, President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba, representatives of the Russian government, Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Center, Central Bank of the Russian Federation, delegations of the regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Srpska. Also among the guests will be representatives of the largest companies - VTB, PSB, VEB RF, Rostec - and members of business associations of Russia and South Ossetia.
