The law-enforcement officers of the Znaur district police department of South Ossetia detained a violator of the state border, the press service of the Interior Ministry reports.
“A resident of the Gori district of Georgia illegally crossed the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia on a tractor last night near the village of Nikozi and headed towards Znaur district, where he was detained by a patrol squad of the district police department,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported.
The detainee told the police that he wanted to visit relatives in the village of Isak-kau in Znaur district.
The violator of the state border was handed over to the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia.
