The South Ossetian State Drama Theater's tour has kicked off in Ulyanovsk. The first performance was a success, according to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia.
The press service reported that before the performance, Yevgeniya Sidorova, Minister of Arts and Cultural Policy of the Ulyanovsk Region, had addressed the company from the stage with words of welcome.
She noted the close cultural cooperation between the Ulyanovsk Region and the Republic of South Ossetia, made possible, in part, by the support of Rada Dzagoeva, Minister of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Grigory Mamiev, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia and Acting Director of the State Drama Theater, read out a welcoming address from Rada Dzagoeva.
The production "Forever Alive" resonated with Ulyanovsk audience and was a great success. And tomorrow, they will be treated to a performance of "Ivanov," based on Anton Chekhov's famous play.
