South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev held meetings at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 6-7, the press service of the RSO Foreign Ministry reports.
"Dzhioev held interdepartmental consultations with the leadership of the Latin American Department, the Second Department of the CIS Countries, and the Fourth Department of the CIS Countries of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in separate meetings," the press service stated.
During the conversations, a range of issues related to the bilateral agenda were discussed, and views were exchanged on the state of affairs in the regions of interest.
"Working contacts between the foreign ministries of South Ossetia and Russia are regular and aimed at closer coordination of foreign policy efforts," the press service has stated.
