Marat Kambolov and Valery Falkov discussed strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia

Acting President of South Ossetia Marat Kambolov announced on his Telegram channel a meeting with Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov.

The head of state has noted that the Russian Minister was accompanied by a representative delegation consisting of the heads of leading universities and research organizations.

"Our Russian colleagues are ready to become reliable partners for the Republic and provide practical assistance in developing science, education, healthcare, and agriculture," Marat Kambolov has emphasized.

According to the Acting President, during the working meeting, the parties discussed the training of specialists needed by the Republic, as well as the further development of South Ossetian State University.

"One of our priorities is to strengthen technical and engineering programs with the support of Russian universities," the acting head of state said.

In conclusion, Marat Kambolov emphasized the strategic development objectives of South Ossetia.

"South Ossetia has significant educational, scientific, and natural potential. Our task is to unlock this potential and direct it toward economic development and improving the quality of life," Marat Kambolov has written.
