The Georgian citizen Paata Arakelovi, who violated the state border of South Ossetia the day before, has been expelled from the Republic on Monday, the press service of the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
The citizen was expelled to Georgia in accordance with Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of South Ossetia “On the State Border”.
Minister of Culture Rada Dzagoeva, on behalf of President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, awarded the Order of Friendship to the New Museum of Contemporary Art Aslan Chekhoev for active work in preserving the national cultural heritage and contribution to the popularization of domestic art, the press service of the Ministry of Culture reports.

The State Security Committee of South Ossetia called on the population of the Republic to remain vigilant in connection with the difficult socio-political situation in Georgia.
“Taking into account the difficult socio-political situation in Georgia, as well as current threats to border security aimed at creating preconditions for the escalation of tension and various types of provocations carried out by official structures of foreign states and a number of foreign public organizations, we urge citizens of South Ossetia to remain vigilant,” - the KGB`s report reads.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev took part in the online conference held at the media center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia.
“The conference participants discussed current trends in the activities of the Western NGOs and the UN agencies in the countries of presence, exchanged experience in the field of countering the destructive influence of these international structures,” the statement of the media center reads.
