South Ossetia paid last tributes to Alan Pliev, perished in the special military operation zone

In South Ossetia, Alan Pliev (Ars), a resident of the village of Kornis in Znaur district, who died from wounds received while performing a combat mission in the special military operation zone, has been bidden farewell.

Pliev died from his injuries in a military hospital in St. Petersburg.

The Republic's leadership, headed by President Alan Gagloev Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the public came to bid farewell to the fighter on his final journey.

Alan was only 30 years old. He left behind a four-year-old son.

By decree of President of South Ossetia, Pliev was posthumously awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal.
