The number of violations of еру South Ossetian airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has decreased, but photographs and videos of the Republic's territories periodically appear in the Georgian segment of social networks.
This was reported by Deputy Presidential Envoy of the Republic of South Ossetia for Post-Conflict Settlement, the head of the South Ossetian delegation Yegor Kochiev following the 125th meeting within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) format.
He has noted that South Ossetia is aware of the possibility of filming border areas from Georgian airspace, but there are also cases when filming is carried out directly from the airspace of the Republic.
"At the same time, specific names and surnames appear in the Georgian segment of social networks, most often these are representatives of the so-called NGO "Strength in Unity," the head of the delegation has emphasized.
The South Ossetian party continues to actively work on this issue.
"The Georgian party is focused on countering such facts. Of course, we understand that they often treat this in a slipshod manner, but we will continue to activate the hotline, including, and raise this issue both at the Geneva discussions and in the IPRM format," Yegor Kochiev said.
