The cadets from higher educational institutions of the Russian Defense Ministry are undergoing military training in various units of the South Ossetian Defense Ministry.
According to the press service of the South Ossetian Defense Ministry, this practice helps strengthening ties between Russia and South Ossetia, as well as train qualified personnel for the Republic's armed forces.
"The cadets studying in such educational institutions as the Military University and the Academy of Logistics and Technical Support are taking part in the internship. The internship is being held in various areas in accordance with the cadets' specialties. The interns are demonstrating diligence, assiduity, reasonable initiative, and with interest are strengthening and improving the knowledge they have acquired in higher educational institutions," the Defense Ministry has noted.
The internship for cadets is conducted annually to acquire practical work skills and perform duties according to their job description.
