Young people from South Ossetia took part in the International Youth Forum "Eurasia Global", which was held in Orenburg.
As one of the participants of the event, leading specialist of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic Alexander Valiev told the "Res" news agency, representatives of 53 countries of the world, including 82 regions of Russia, had taken part in the large-scale Forum.
"South Ossetia was represented by three participants, including the activists of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic - Vladislav Gazzaev and Vladislav Muldarov. They took part in the Forum for the first time, got great pleasure, new knowledge and experience in creating projects and teamwork," he has shared.
According to Valiev, at the Forum, representatives of South Ossetia met with the heads of the international friendship club, leaders of youth organizations from different countries and regions of Russia.
"We also managed to participate in group classes on creating projects that would make the stay of foreign citizens in Russia more convenient. There were meetings with representatives of Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Venezuela, England, Rwanda, Nigeria and other countries, as well as regions of Russia that were interested in our Republic," the agency's interlocutor said.
As noted by Valiev, the South Ossetian delegation showed its best side, actively participating in all areas, and also prepared memorable gifts and souvenirs for participants from other countries.
Representatives of South Ossetia also treated the Forum participants to national Ossetian pies and handed over books about Ossetia.
"We would like to express our deep gratitude to President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Eduardovich Gagloev for his help in traveling to this Forum," he said.
