A number of mourning events will be held in Transnistria in memory of the military actions taken place in South Ossetia in August 2008.
They are organized by the official representative office of the Republic in the PMR, the Novosti Pridnestrovya agency reports.
On August 7, at 20:00, the State Flag of the Republic of South Ossetia will be lowered in Tiraspol.
The next day, August 8, at 17:00, a flower-laying ceremony and a memorial service for the deceased civilians of South Ossetia, militias, soldiers and peacekeepers will be held at the building of the representative office of the Republic on 24 Mir Street,.
Everyone can take part in the event.
