Prayers services for all the fallen defenders and civilians of Abkhazia were held in the churches of Tskhinval, the press service of the Alania diocese reports.
On Thursday, August 14, Abkhazia is marking the Day of Beginning of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia in 1992-1993.
As noted by the diocese, the services were attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Abkhazia to South Ossetia Alan Elbakiev.
