Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Sergey Nazarov proposed creating a working group to develop investment projects. He made this announcement at the meeting with the investors in South Ossetia.
Nazarov noted that the working group could be formed jointly with representatives of the Kavkaz.RF and that banks could be involved in this work.
"It is important to unite the efforts of all stakeholders: investors, representatives of Kavkaz.RF, and the government of South Ossetia. This will shorten the decision-making process and professionally evaluate the proposed projects," Nazarov said.
He has added that active work is needed in this area and that the issue should be discussed again in a month.
"If you actively promote this initiative, we will respond vigorously," the Deputy Minister has added, addressing the South Ossetian party.
Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussev expressed his willingness to cooperate, noting that he would prepare his proposals in the near future.
