South Ossetia and the Fatherland Defenders Foundation plan to open a representative office and increase support for participants in the special military operation

On the instructions of the South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev, the important meeting was held in Moscow between his official representatives on the issues of supporting participants in the special military operation and the leadership of the Fatherland Defenders Foundation, the Presidential press service reports. ⁣⁣⠀⁣⁣⠀

"Representatives of President of South Ossetia, on behalf of the President, greeted the Foundation's leadership and the staff of the Russian Presidential Administration, noting the importance of further cooperation for the Republic and the participants of the special military operation, and also emphasized the significance of comprehensive support and strengthening of cooperation," the press service has noted.⁣⁣

Representatives of President of South Ossetia, Health Minister Soslan Naniev, Head of the Presidential Control Directorate Sarmat Chochiev, and Presidential Aide Alan Pliev, participated in the meeting for the South Ossetian part⁣⁣⠀⁣⁣⠀

During the talks, the parties agreed to develop a roadmap for cooperation and plans to open a representative office of the Foundation in South Ossetia, which will expand the Foundation's support capabilities for the special military operation participants and their families.⁣⁣⁣⁣⠀

⁣⁣The participants also visited the Foundation's center, where they learned about its infrastructure and key areas of work.⁣⁣⠀⁣⁣⠀

The opening of the Foundation's representative office and the joint development of the support strategy are important not only for strengthening the social protection of the special military operation participants in South Ossetia, but also for strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Republic and the Russian structures.
