The commander of the sabotage and reconnaissance detachment "Alania" Ruslan Ostaev (call sign "Skif") awarded medals to the South Ossetian fighters for impeccable service in the zone of the special military operation.
In a solemn atmosphere, he noted the contribution of each of the recipients, emphasizing their high professionalism, perseverance and dedication in performing combat missions.
According to Ruslan Ostaev, the South Ossetian fighters have established themselves as reliable, disciplined and courageous warriors, capable of coherently carrying out assigned tasks, risking their own lives.
During the event, those present honored the memory of their fallen colleagues with a minute of silence, paying tribute to their feat and heroism.
About 15 citizens of the Republic were awarded medals of the sabotage and reconnaissance detachment “Alania” for their significant contribution to supporting the detachment, contributing to the successful completion of tasks during a special military operation.
Among the recipients are representatives of President of the Republic in the spesial Mmlitary operation zone, deputies of Parliament, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, editor-in-chief of the “Res “ news agency Maya Kharebova and the head of the National Bank Soslan Bekoev.
“These people make a significant contribution to organizing assistance to the military personnel and volunteers: they provide humanitarian support, provide information support, and also help the families of dead and wounded soldiers,” Ruslan Ostaev has emphasized.
He has noted that their support plays a key role in strengthening the morale of military personnel.
