The non-profit organization, the National Export Center, was established in South Ossetia on the eve of the Prodexpo 2026 international exhibition.

The new organization will work closely with the Republic's trade mission in the Russian Federation to actively promote the South Ossetian export. Taimuraz Goginov, the Trade Representative of the Republic of South Ossetia in Russia, announced during the Tskhinval-Moscow video conference.

"The Center's office is located in Tskhinval, in the Iryston Hotel. By working closely with the trade mission, we will be able to offer our entrepreneurs significantly more effective support measures for entering the Russian market. We are ready to provide comprehensive assistance and answer any questions from businessmen seeking to develop their export," he said.

The Trade representative has noted that the Republic has many small producers with excellent, high-quality products, which are now ready to be showcased on a larger scale.

"We have many small producers whom I invited to join our exhibit; they have very good products. It's important for local producers to choose their niche and believe in themselves, because the Republic produces truly high-quality products," Goginov has added.

He called on small and medium-sized businesses to more actively explore the Russian market, "where goods from South Ossetia are already recognizable and the Republic is confidently becoming a brand."
