The fighters of the Sarmat Battalion in the special military operation highly appreciate the attention and care of the South Ossetian leadership.
This was noted by a Hero of the Donetsk People's Republic and commander of the international brigade "Pyatnashka," Akhra Avidzba (call sign "Abkhaz"), during the meeting with the South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev.
"Returning home, people from South Ossetia are not ignored. For every fighter, it's not just the warmth of their families that matters, but also the support of the Republic—that means a lot. South Ossetia and Abkhazia openly supported the special military operation by sending their sons to the front lines. They are proving themselves to be worthy citizens and heroes," Akhra Avidzba said.
He has emphasized that true partnership emerges precisely in difficult situations.
"We are the worthy citizens of Russia. Regardless of whether we have dual citizenship or not, we remain part of the Russian world. This is the core that shapes our shared history and unites our peoples," the Pyatnashka Brigade Commander has noted.
Akhra Avidzba also expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and support from President Alan Gagloev.
