South Ossetia and the Syrian Arab Republic may begin active cooperation in the youth sphere. This was announced by the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev during the press conference.
According to him, the Ministry has already received proposals from the Syrian side to establish direct contacts between youth organizations in the two countries.
"Our Syrian partners have proposed establishing cooperation between the youth organizations. This information will be conveyed to our Youth Policy Committee. And I hope that we can achieve some progress in terms of cooperation, including between youth organizations," Dzhioev has noted.
The head of the Foreign Ministry has also emphasized that interstate dialogue between Tskhinval and Damascus is developing steadily in many other areas.
