On June 20, the 106th anniversary of the tragic events of 1920, a nationwide minute of silence was held in South Ossetia in memory of the victims of the genocide of the Ossetian people.
At exactly 12:00, life stopped for one minute throughout the country. Institutions closed their doors, drivers stopped their vehicles, and passersby stood still in tribute to the victims.
