Most of the violations of the state border of South Ossetia over the past period are committed by ordinary citizens, often in a state of alcoholic intoxication. This was reported to journalists by Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of President of the Republic of South Ossetia for Post-Conflict Settlement, the head of the South Ossetian delegation Egor Kochiev following the 125th meeting within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) format.

The number of violations of еру South Ossetian airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has decreased, but photographs and videos of the Republic's territories periodically appear in the Georgian segment of social networks.

At the initiative of the Russian House in Tskhinval, a ceremony of raising the Russian flag and presenting gratitude to the most active citizens of South Ossetia will be held in front of the representative office on Thursday.

This was announced at the press conference by the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Republic, Sergei Komissarov.

The event is timed to coincide with the national holiday – Russia Day.

In South Ossetia, Alan Pliev (Ars), a resident of the village of Kornis in Znaur district, who died from wounds received while performing a combat mission in the special military operation zone, has been bidden farewell.

Pliev died from his injuries in a military hospital in St. Petersburg.

The Republic's leadership, headed by President Alan Gagloev Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the public came to bid farewell to the fighter on his final journey.

A round table on the topic "Russia and South Ossetia: the dynamics of strengthening friendship and cooperation" was held in the capital of South Ossetia.

The event, timed to coincide with the celebration of Russia Day, was organized by the South Ossetian political party "Unity".

Minister of Education and Science of South Ossetia Aslan Lolaev, at the invitation of Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov, will take part in the III International Forum of Ministers of Education "Shaping the Future", the press service of the Ministry of Education reported to IA "Res".

South Ossetia handed over to Georgia two of its citizens who served their sentences for illegally crossing the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia, the press service of the KGB of the Republic reports.

The previously detained Georgian citizens Tenadze Leonid, born in 1979, and Tenadze Tariel, born in 1986, residents of the village of Plavismani in the Gori municipality, were found guilty by the Tskhinval District Court of illegally crossing the state border and sentenced to imprisonment.

In Tskhinval, Ilya Siukaev, a participant in the special military operation, was bidden farewell. His life was tragically cut short on May 25 in Gorlovka while performing his military duty.

The young fighter was killed as a result of a mortar attack on the car in which he was heading on a combat mission.

Hundreds of the South Ossetian residents gathered to pay their respect and bid farewell to Siukaev on his final journey.
